Privacy Policy

Nudge is a lightweight mobile companion app for Notion. It helps users quickly capture notes, tasks, ideas, and voice notes, then send them to a dedicated Notion Inbox.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Nudge collects, how it is used, and how users can request deletion of their data.

Information We Collect

Notion connection information

When you connect your Notion workspace, Nudge receives access through Notion OAuth. This may include information such as your Notion workspace ID, workspace name, selected parent page, created Nudge Inbox page, and the access token required to send captures to your Notion workspace.

Nudge only uses this access to create and sync content to the Notion location you select.

Capture content

When you create a note, task, idea, or voice capture, the content may be processed by Nudge so it can be sent to your Notion Inbox.

Text captures are sent to the Nudge backend only for the purpose of syncing them to Notion.

Voice captures may be sent to a transcription provider so they can be converted into text before being saved to Notion.

Local app data

Nudge may store some information locally on your device, such as recent captures, offline captures, connection status, and retry/sync status.

This helps the app work when your connection is slow or unavailable.

Technical data

Nudge may process basic technical information needed to operate the service, such as error logs, request metadata, and sync status.

This is used to keep the app working, debug issues, and improve reliability.

How We Use Information

Nudge uses information only to:

• connect your Notion workspace
• create your Nudge Inbox
• send your notes, tasks, ideas, and voice transcriptions to Notion
• save captures locally when offline
• retry syncing when your connection is restored
• improve app reliability and fix bugs

Data Sharing

Nudge does not sell your personal data.

Nudge may share limited data with service providers only when needed to operate the app, including:

• Notion, to save your captures into your workspace
• Supabase, to store connection and sync information
• a transcription provider, if you use voice capture
• hosting and backend infrastructure providers used to run the app

These services are used only to provide the app’s core functionality.

Data Retention

Nudge keeps Notion connection information as long as you use the app or until you request deletion.

Captures saved locally remain on your device unless deleted by you or removed by the app.

Nudge does not aim to permanently store your note content on its servers. Capture content is processed mainly to send it to Notion.

You can request deletion of your Nudge connection data by contacting:

You can also revoke Nudge’s access from your Notion workspace settings.

Children

Nudge is not designed for children under 13.

Security

Nudge uses reasonable technical measures to protect user data, including secure connections and restricted backend access.

However, no online service can guarantee perfect security.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as Nudge changes. Updates will be posted on this page.
